SAWTOOTH - Acoustic Fluidizer

As part of Jort Van Welbergen's 2 week vehicle design class at New3dge Concept Art School we were tasked with designing a non-military vehicle with a function of our choice. I chose to design a one pilot sand sailor which functions by using concentrated sound waves to vibrate surrounding sand to allow for movement such as that of a jetski through water. These ships are used by the equivalent of whalers from a far off planet, where gigantic Sand Wyrms burrow beneath the surface of the sand.
