Icali is a group project that was a collaboration between the Concept Art, VFX and Game Art departments of New3dge. It tells the story of Tlahuicole, a warrior gifted with incredible abilities by the god of the sun. I was tasked with designing Celestial Monsters from the Spirit Realm, as well as the enemy Conquistadors, which our hero would slay on his journey. In this post I will be sharing my work on the Celestial Monsters for the game version of Icali.
